OGGA has invented the concept of “social smartbuilding” for the Aralis Foundation, a leading player in the field of supported housing in France. The social housing building of Monplaisir in Lyon, supported by Lyon Métropole Habitat and due for delivery at the end of the year, will include a connected building with 182 units designed to accommodate residents with a wide range of profiles: isolated people, people with difficulty accessing housing or people on the move in the region. All profiles for which finding housing is often a headache.
Occupants have access to the latest-generation homes and to control functions that are still rare in this type of residence. The aim is to enable them to rediscover consumption patterns that they will be able to adopt in their future homes. Without compromising the comfort of a modern home.
For Aralis, a leading player in the supported housing sector, we have developed tailor-made smart functionalities that will enable the manager to control the system precisely and guide beneficiaries towards more conscious energy use on a day-to-day basis. At the same time, the economic model of social housing residences is particularly constrained, and potential excesses need to be controlled:
1. Data feedback and management platform.
It enables the property manager to monitor the units (max. temperature setpoint, kWh consumption thresholds for hobs and electrical outlets, water consumption thresholds, cumulus heating period, etc.).
2. Tenants’ support
Tenants are gradually helped to become more autonomous in their energy and fluid management. To this end, a monthly virtual bill is sent out as an essential step towards reintegration.
As a social landlord, do you want to optimize the energy management of your housing units and make savings while improving the comfort of your residents?
